Arrive & set an intention
We'll begin with a conversation about what brings you in, any boundaries or preferences, and an intention you'd like to hold. Nothing personal needs to be shared beyond your comfort.
When you're navigating a new chapter, the world doesn't always make room for you to pause. Reiki offers an intentional experience centered on stillness, spiritual reflection, and reconnecting with yourself.
You don't need to understand energy work or know exactly what you're looking for. Curiosity is a place to begin.
GUIDED MEDITATION · REIKI · SPIRITUAL REFLECTION

Reiki is a Japanese-origin spiritual wellness practice often described as energy work. During an in-person session, you remain fully clothed while the practitioner rests their hands lightly on you—or holds them just above you—based on your preferences and consent.
At Noir Joya, this practice is part of a broader spiritual experience that also includes guided meditation, intention-setting, prayer or ancestral-inspired elements discussed in advance, and time to reflect. Experiences are personal; no particular sensation or outcome is required.
Reiki is a complementary spiritual practice. It is not a medical treatment, and its effectiveness for treating health conditions has not been established.
Your session will be thoughtfully structured, while leaving room for your comfort, questions, and individual intentions. Here's the experience I'm developing.
We'll begin with a conversation about what brings you in, any boundaries or preferences, and an intention you'd like to hold. Nothing personal needs to be shared beyond your comfort.
A guided meditation will open the experience, helping you settle into the present moment. The exact format is still being refined as my practice develops.
I plan to incorporate Usui Reiki, Byosen-inspired intuitive scanning, and chakra and meridian awareness within my training. Prayer and ancestral spiritual elements may also be included with your informed agreement. In-person Reiki is fully clothed, with light touch only when consented to.
We'll close with time to reflect, including any impressions I may share as personal, intuitive observations—not diagnoses or facts about you. You can decide what, if anything, feels meaningful to carry forward.
This is the intended shape of the future experience, not a finalized session protocol. Modalities, format, length, location, and distance-session details may be refined before bookings open. All spiritual components will be explained so clients can make informed choices.
Rebuilding can invite questions about who you are now and what you want to carry forward. Here, spiritual practice isn't about having all the answers. It's an opportunity for intentional presence, inner exploration, and moments of reflection on your own terms.

I'm the founder of Noir Joya and a Reiki Level I practitioner continuing my Level II training. For me, intentional spiritual wellness begins with respect—for your experiences, your questions, and your personal boundaries.
My developing approach brings together Reiki, guided meditation, intuitive Byosen scanning, meridian and chakra concepts, and spiritual traditions explored in my training. I aim to offer these with care, clear explanations, and respect for your beliefs and choices.

Being new to Reiki is reason enough to ask questions. Here's a place to begin.
Not at all. This page is designed with first-time visitors in mind. We'll explain the process and welcome your questions before a session begins.
Only if you've agreed to it. Reiki may involve light touch or hands held just above your fully clothed body. You can choose a no-touch approach and change your mind at any time.
Distance Reiki is a remote form of the practice that practitioners offer without being physically present with the recipient. If offered, we'll explain how the appointment works before you book. Experiences vary, and no particular result is promised.
No. Some sessions may include prayer or ancestral-inspired practices, but these will be discussed in advance. You can decline or request adjustments to spiritual elements, and your preferences will be respected.
Guided meditation is planned as an opening part of the session. Intuitive impressions may be shared as optional reflections, not predictions, diagnoses, or statements about your health. Details will be confirmed when sessions open.
Reiki is not a substitute for medical or mental health care, and research has not established it as effective for treating medical conditions. Please continue any care recommended by your qualified healthcare professionals.
Bookings, locations, session lengths, and pricing haven't been announced yet. The first-access list will receive updates when details are finalized.
Reiki is coming to Noir Joya. Until then, you're welcome to learn, ask questions, and stay connected.
