A Detroit native, mama, and spiritual practitioner now residing in metro Phoenix. My journey started long before I had a name for what I was experiencing.
My spiritual journey began long before I had the words to describe it.
As a little girl, I experienced things I couldn't quite explain—dreams that later came true, moments of simply knowing something without understanding how, and encounters I would later learn to describe through spiritual language.
Those experiences didn't frighten me. I was deeply sensitive and curious, but I didn't yet have the words, understanding, or someone I felt safe talking to about them.
A different way of seeing.
As I grew, so did my desire to understand myself and what might exist beyond the physical world. But it was during one of the lowest seasons of my life that this search took on a new meaning.
I found books about mindset and manifestation that invited me to question how I saw myself and my circumstances. I began learning that, while I couldn't control everything around me, I could gradually change my perspective, my choices, and the way I moved through life.
It didn't happen overnight. Rebuilding rarely does. But little by little, I began finding my way back to myself.
The unexpected path to Reiki.
One day while driving, I felt a clear inner nudge: Go study Reiki. I'd never experienced a Reiki session and knew very little about it. A few days later, while working, I unexpectedly met the woman who would give me my first Level I attunement.
That beginning opened another door in my spiritual education. Since then, I've continued studying Reiki, numerology, and other practices that invite self-reflection and intentional living.
The jewel was always there.
I believe there's a jewel within every woman. Not a perfect version of herself she has to earn, but who she already is—worthy even through change, struggle, and uncertainty.
Noir Joya was born from the desire to create a space for women navigating the growing pains of rebuilding and becoming. My vision is to offer spiritual tools, thoughtful resources, support, and eventually a community where women can explore and develop their gifts at their own pace.
I know what it feels like to struggle. And I know that struggle doesn't diminish our worth.
I am you, and you are me.

I'm a Reiki Level I practitioner continuing advanced study, developing an experience that includes guided meditation, intention, spiritual practices, and space to reflect.
Thoughtful explanations, respect for personal boundaries, and room for your own beliefs and questions are central to the experience I aim to create.
